BNP Paribas Securities Services and BNP Paribas Investment Partners came to studio401 and asked us to design their stand graphics for the recent NAPF Annual Conference and Exhibition 2014. Pat Cash was a special guest on the stand and delegates were able to stop on the stand and play a built-in interactive tennis game with the man himself! The three day show proved to be a huge success attracting some of the most important pension decision makers in the country.
In November 2012 our print partner Pureprint started beta testing the HP Indigo 10000 digital press and have placed an order for a second one which is due for delivery in August 2013. This new technology has enabled Studio401 to offer B2 large format, striking print quality and the ability to run personalisation across multiple versions at virtually no extra cost. Studio401 were recently asked to redesign the brand identity and website for leading London-based financial planners John Lamb. This sizeable brand project will include all offline collateral, stationery and signage. To start the project, we facilitated a thorough brand workshop with the clients to get to grips with their needs and establish an understanding of their market positioning and USP. The resultant brand identity mixes elements of identity, heritage and hallmarks with a rich purple and cool grey colour palette. It represents the 50 year history and experience of John Lamb and the people-focussed nature of it’s up-to-the-minute advice. The new identity is now being applied to all internal and external materials in advance of the new website, due to roll–out in April.
Studio401’s long-term print partner Pureprint has announced its agreement to be one of the two British companies to beta test the new HP Indigo 10000 digital press, driving the development of this highly productive, versatile press and spearheading the introduction of new applications, not previously addressed by digital printing.
The launch of the new B2-format HP Indigo Digital Press is significant as it takes digital print deeper into the production mainstream. The 10000 press will be able to offer our clients cost-effective print solutions on shorter print runs for projects such as folders, packaging applications, brochures and posters. The press also offers the same personalising capabilities as the current smaller format Indigo 7500, with the benefit of the B2 sheet sizes. With the reduction of environmental impacts over the traditional litho printing processes, Studio401 are very excited about this new press and the benefits that we can offer to our clients. The press is due to be fully operational to our clients in early 2013.
Our long term client BNP Paribas are sponsoring the David Hockney exhibition ‘A bigger picture’. The Royal Academy of Arts presents the first major exhibition of new landscape works by David Hockney RA. Featuring vivid paintings inspired by the East Yorkshire landscape, these large-scale works have been created especially for the galleries at the Royal Academy of Arts and are shown alongside related drawings and film. We reckon it’s worth a visit…
