In this post we thought we would share with you parts of the design process for one of the spreads in the most recent edition of BNP Paribas Securities Services OneUK online magazine. We will focus on one of our regular features in the magazine ‘Team talk’. Starting with concept sketches, we give you a snap shot of the various stages that went into creating the final layout.
Studio401 recently launched the London Olympic edition of the popular online magazine for the staff of BNP Paribas Securities Services. This edition features a custom made retro hurdles game so staff can compete with each other and climb the BNP Paribas leaderboard. Fastest time so far 12.55 seconds! Studio401 have recently finished designing ‘ONE UK’ a new digital online magazine for the leading French bank BNP Paribas. As well as designing the layout of the magazine we were asked to create a bespoke user interface with a view to making the navigation of the magazine and all back issues as user friendly as possible. All pages are media rich, fully interactive and feature custom animation. BNP Paribas are delighted with the results and we look forward to working on future issues. Studio401 were asked to design the launch issue of ‘spotlight’ a magazine for BNP Paribas Securities Services that focuses on culture and engagement in the work environment. The turnaround time on this project was tight to say the least. BNP Paribas were delighted with the results and so were we. We look forward to working with BNP Paribas on the next issue.
Stock Market Challenge is an initiative bought to schools across Scotland to give students a taste of what it would be like to work as a trader on the financial markets. Students can buy and sell shares and currency just like professional traders do. BNP Paribas Securities Services and Skills Development Scotland needed an identity for Stock Market Challenge and also a booklet that could be given out at the schools to introduce the concept of the game. The logo is based on the shield of a traditional school badge and the blue line conveys an upward plot of a stocks and shares graph. The booklet was delivered to schools across Scotland and was a huge success.
